Isolating some of the most intimate parts of the human body and creating evocative sculptures that create narratives that subvert preconceived notions of gender/roles that may confront or amuse. The current series “ Peep Show” draws on shifting ownership of “ the gaze” and the French Rococo Revival’s definition of “feminine” decorative arts and “home” as control . The pieces are meant have exterior and interior visual stimulation so that the viewer has the option of a distance or more intimate, “peeping “ interaction .
