Enjoy creating functional pieces. My forms are fluid, soft and round. They want to be touched...Stoneware and porcelain are coaxed into organic, billowy shapes.
Simple glazes or atmospheric firings enhance the surface. The flames in wood, salt and pit firings add direction and movement. I use subtle glaze combinations when firing in gas or electric kilns
