The Clay Studio offices, galleries, open studio, and school will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025, in honor of the Independence Day Holiday.
Liz Dailey
Clay is something I've been working in for over 50 years. It hasn't provided an income but I studied it in college and worked and taught at The Clay Studio from the late 1970's until 1986. In the meantime I got a degree in Horticulture from Temple University and had a design/installtion landscape business for over thrity years. I had bought a house and kiln and set up my studio at home, having a holiday pottery sale once a year. I have had a few pieces in The Clay Studio's Small Favors Exhibit and continue to take commissions from people for functional pottery.
