The intention of my tiny niches is to create a small moment of joy and intrigue. The intricate patterns that surround the tiny colorful fruit, complement each other and express the sentiment of wonderment. When I look at them, the combination of colors and shapes transport me back to my time in foreign places. To me, the pear symbolizes spirituality and nourishment. The shape has a sensuality that suggests growth and longevity. The pomegranate, with its seeds and form, are captivating. Throughout history this fruit has had important meanings and symbolism, therefore it is worthy of display and inspiration. Both the object and patterned frames are a poetic marriage of harmony and jubilation.
