On Wednesday, November 18th, Sor Ynez is partnering with The Clay Studio to host a Jicara inspired, cup-decorating class, followed by a mezcal tasting.
During the class, guests will receive two clay Jicara inspired cups, traditionally used in Mexico for enjoying mezcal, to paint and decorate, while learning more about the history of mezcal from the team at Sor Ynez. While guests get to bring home the homemade cup used for the tasting, The Clay Studio will bring guests’ creations back to their studio to finalize in their kiln and will be available for pick-up at their studio in 2-3 weeks after the event. Tickets will be $90 per person and include two clay cups, three 1oz. mezcal pours, and light bites, and can be purchased on The Clay Studio's website.
