Family Workshop - Polar Friends

Preregistration required.

Join us on Sunday, February 16th for our "Polar Friends" workshop!

Have you read Mr. Popper's Penguins by Reichar Atwater?  Mr. Popper loved penguins so much that he kept real ones in his fridge, made their basement freezing cold for them and wore heavy jackets indoors to make the penguins feel at home!  Well, if you are also a fan of the creatures who live in the poles, but don't have the willpower to accommodate them? Don't worry, we got you! No need to give up your comfort, how about creating an adorable winter creature of your own with clay!  Will you make a polar bear, a penguin or an arctic fox?

During this 3 hour workshop, participants will construct, decorate and paint the polar friends using the patterns and forms provided to ensure easy construction  Let your imagination run wild and find your spirit animal for the winter season!

  • 1 sulpture per person. Choose to make a polar bear, a penguin or an arctic fox!
  • The tuition fee covers one individual. You must register for each adult and child attending.
