Workshop for teens and their adults:
Create your own personalized mug out of real clay with an artist from The Clay Studio! You will learn how to create a pattern out of your own designs based off of your favorite things and create your name or initials in clay so the piece feels like your own. After the workshop, the mugs will be glazed and fired at The Clay Studio and returned to you food-safe so you can enjoy a hot beverage out of your own creation.

This event is part of Near Time, an event series hosted by The Fabric Workshop Museum in collaboration with Made Institute, as well as The Clay Studio, Second State Press, Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens! Art-making workshops will be led by a different organization every Saturday at 2 p.m. between February 26 and March 26, 2022. Workshops are open to teens (11-18) and their adults at $40 per pair (for 1 adult and 1 teen).
