In this introductory class on mold making and slip casting, you will learn to make simple one or two part molds from found objects and clay forms of your own creation. Using these molds, you will generate a number of cast white stoneware parts that can be altered and combined to create ceramic sculptures. Explore the endless possibilities of incorporating slip casting into your handbuilding process and develop new ideas along the way.
