Summertime Clay Camp Adventures!
July 8 - August 30, 2013
Ages 6-12
Join the fun this summer for weeklong clay camps, designed for ages 6 - 12! Campers expand their imaginations and explore the exciting world of clay through a wide range of projects and building techniques. Whether working with sculpture, claymation, or wheel-thrown pottery, students learn in a supportive, small class setting with plenty of individual instruction.
Campers are welcome to participate in a half-day camp or stay for a full day (excluding Claymation whichis a full day.) Half-day camps meet for three hours each day (from 9 am – 12 pm or 1 pm - 4 pm) and include a short snack break. Half-day camps do not include a supervised lunch break. Supervised lunch is available for half-day campers or campers who want to stay for the whole day for $20 per week and must be registered for separately. Supervised lunch includes field trips to local galleries and historical sites, lunchtime yoga, and more. The full-day Claymation camps meet for 7 hours each day (from 9 am - 4 pm) and include the hour-long supervised break for lunch.
A new program for teens (ages 13-17) interested in working in clay has been added from August 26-30.
More information regarding camps (emergency contact forms and general info) will be sent to registered families two weeks prior to camp.
